It was my friend Paul’s birthday yesterday and we went to the beach to celebrate it. They all had a wonderful time except me. Yesterday was my first time to go to the beach. I had been dreaming of going to the beach since my childhood. I planned this before privately: when I got to the beach, I would first jump to the sea and feel the seawater. I thought I would totally enjoy myself there. But actually things went contrary to my wishes.

You could never imagine how excited I was when I first saw the sea. When we arrived there, I found it was only me who hadn’t been to the beach before. They all carried a bag but I didn’t, and this aroused my curiosity to find out what was in their bags. They first took out sunglasses, sunscreen and etc. I had no idea why they brought these and I couldn’t wait no longer to swim in the sea. I ran towards the sea at once and jumped into it. At that moment the thing in my mind was how wonderful if I were a fish, so I would never leave the sea.

After swimming for some time, I felt tired. So I began to find where my friends were. They were at the seashore, lying down on the beach and enjoying the sunshine. They were having sun bath. I went to join them and when I lied down, the fierce sunlight made my eyes feel uncomfortable. I even couldn’t open my eyes. So I just lied down with my eyes closed because I didn’t wear sunglasses.

On the way back, they described how beautiful the sun was; how charming those young girls wearing bikinis were and so on. It occurred to me that how stupid I was because I didn’t carry a pair of sunglasses. And due to this, I missed so many beautiful sights at the beach. To solve this problem, the first thing to do was to buy myself a pair of sunglasses.

When I got home, I searched the internet immediately. The only thing I wanted was a pair of prescription sunglasses to protect my eyes from sunshine. After choosing for some time, I decided to buy a pair of sunglasses. Because I believed in what my friends had chosen. With the sunglasses, I would absolutely have a wonderful time when the next time I go to the beach.
